FULL-HEIGHT
SHUTTERS
Full-height shutters are a classic style that covers the window from top to bottom.
For taller windows, and those with horizontal glazing bars, we recommend a midrail. The midrail is a fixed aspect of the panel that separates the slats in upper and lower sections. This means the slats can be operated independently providing you with better privacy and light control as well as temperature regulation. The secondary job of the midrail is to add structural stability to the panel reducing the chance of it warping.
On smaller windows without a glazing bar, the midrail may be undesirable. Instead, a hidden split control can be inserted to separate the panel into two sections allowing the same excellent light and privacy controls with the added benefit of giving uninterrupted views of outside through the slats.
