VOILES
Voiles are a practical and stylish way to bring more light into a room without losing privacy.
They vary in thickness and transparency and are commonly used as an accompaniment to curtains to protect your floors and furnishings from harmful UV.
We supply over 90 railroaded voiles which means they can be made without joins to give a beautiful, uncluttered finish to this most delicate of window coverings. Whether you are after jacquards, embroidered, texture or very fine light fabrics, we stock a vast arrany of colours and tints which make for a stunning centrepiece to any room.
Voiles can also be used to layer over blinds, as dress curtains to soften entrances and as beautiful backdrops in commercial settings such as hotel lobbies and concierge space in new build developments.
In recent years, there has been a growing trend towards using sheer curtains over large expanses like bi-folding doors. Not only are they very elegant and light permitting but they can also act as a block to unwanted insect from entering your home in the summertime.
As with curtains, we are able to have voiles made in a choice of header styles including wave, eyelet, pinch pleat and pencil pleat.

Voiles Heading Styles
Like our curtains, we manufacture voiles using 4 disctinctive header styles. Most popular among our clients are the wave and pinch pleat but there are many factors that will determine which you might go for. These include the space available; where the voiles will be fitted; and whether you have a traditional or contemporary look to the room. Choosing the right header is important to getting the ambience of the living space just right.
Wave VOILES
Hung on a purpose made track or pole, this header style creates a soft and continuous wave when drawn.
Smart, stylish and minimalistic, wave voiles are the perfect look for the modern setting producing a light, uncluttered feel to your window spaces.
Wave voiles are chic and uncomplicated working equally well with plain and patterned fabrics.
Pinch Pleat VOILES
Pinch pleat voiles can be hung on a track, metal or wooden poles and the header made as a double or triple pinch pleat.
The double pinch pleat has two folds of fabric sewn at regular intervals.
Conversely, a the triple pinch pleat has three folds sewn into the header creating a more traditional look with pronounced folds.
Eyelet VOILES
Eyelet voiles can be made to look contemporary and minimalistic; equally, they be very grand and quite traditional. They are truly the chameleon of the voiles header style.
Hung on a metal pole, eyelet voiles offer a small stack when pulled open making them an excellent choice where there is limited wall space either side of the window.
Pencil pleat VOILES
The pencil pleat name is derived from the header’s resemblance to a line of tightly packed pencils.
Pencil pleat voiles have a less structures fold compared to other header styles creating more relaxed look.
This is a versatile header allowing for voiles to be made with more or less fabric to affect privacy and light control in the room.
